Around the eyes

Crow's feet, hollows, and the thinnest skin on the face.

What is happening

A delicate anatomy

Squinting and smiling fold the delicate skin around the eyes, and thinning, volume loss and sun can leave it looking hollow, creased and crepey. Amber's experience in oculoplastics informs how she treats this area.

Why it happens

Repeated squinting and smiling fold the delicate skin around the eyes, and over time those lines can become visible even when your face is at rest.

As skin thins and under-eye volume diminishes with age, the area can look hollower, creased, and shadowed.

Sun exposure can thin and damage the delicate skin around the eyes, contributing to fine lines, uneven pigment, and a crepey texture.

This is oculoplastic literacy applied with a light hand.
